GSIB collects personal information for legitimate business purposes and to comply with GSIB ‘s legal obligations. In any instance where non-mandatory information is sought, you will be notified of this at the point of collection.
The Hitachi group, to which GSIB is part of, operates around the world and to make sure you get a response to your enquiry from the right person we may transfer your enquiry (and your personal data associated with it) to other companies in the Hitachi group.
Please note that the sharing of your personal data between Hitachi group companies may result in your personal data being shared with, or made available to, Hitachi group companies in countries where the local laws may not afford the same level of data protection as your country of residence. We take reasonable steps aimed to protect your personal information. These steps include implementing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information from our group companies in the EEA to our other group companies.
